Mileage: 6.8
Time: 4.5 hours
Elevation at peak: 4,180ft
Elevation gain: 1,800ft
Difficulty: An Easy Moderate
Views: Main view just after summit
Wildlife: Not much throughout the hike. Saw a woodpecker. No bears. The drive along the roads to the hike led to some deer sightings and a pretty waterfall along route 47.
It was rainy the past few days, making for a very muddy and wet hike. I'm not sure if it's always that wet, but the trail follows along a rocky brook. If you follow the yellow to blue to red trail, it is a more serene hike than just following the yellow to red all the way up and imo looks to be easier going up, when judging from coming down on the red trail.
